WoW Enchanting Guide

This is part 1 of the Wow Enchanting guide. Part 2 of the Get The Ultimate WoW Guide NowWorld Of Warcraft Enchanting Guide here. This WoW Enchanting Guide will help you to level 1-450.

For those of you who are not quite sure how enchanting works here is a quick summary.

Enchanting is a Primary profession in WoW and can be performed any class once trained. The blood elves do have a slight upper hand if you play them though and decide to do enchanting as they have the passive racial skill of increased enchanting. Enchanting also goes well with tailoring and enchanting does not require you to perform any gathering such as mining etc... so that is a bonus.

As an enchanter you place enchants on items such as weapons or other gear to increase their stats making them maybe more powerful or sought after. Other players will therefore buy these items from you if it is something they are looking for. At the begginning your basic level enchants may not be as sought after though but stick it through to the later levels then you can make some nice gold. Although it may need alot of patience on your behalf as it is difficult to learn, and will cost you some gold in the process to level up it still is a popular profession in WoW.

As an enchanter you basically start by disenchanting items (which destroy them in the process) to break that item down into its core elements or supply items that you need to enchant to level up. So in other words you are taking items that may be sought after and instead of selling those items to other players or at the auction house you "disenchant" them and collect the components. Some of the items you will need to disenchant may be expensive and you cannot undo a disenchant. These items will either be given to you by other players, bought from the auction house or various other sources. So if you need gold and lots of it remember this WoW Gold Guide will help you greatly. You can source additional enchanting recipes, called formulae, from hidden trainers or reputations or as drops from monsters.

This is what you can recieve when you disenchant these items:
