World Of Warcraft Gold Guide

Get Luke Brown's Gold Secrets

This Is Part 2 of the World Of Warcraft Gold Guide and will be focusing on making gold at lower levels. Part 1 of the WoW Gold Guide here.

Lets jump right in. No pun intented.

Tip 1: Fishing tip. Head on over to the flight master in Auberdine (35,46) and get a shiny bauble to increase your fishing skill to 25. (note that this only lasts for 10mins). Hurry on over just past Gubber Blump and fish for the Oily Blackmouth there. This fish is needed by Alchemists to level up and make blackmouth oil. These sell for round 2.5g per stack. A good spot for Blackmouth as well in the Wetlands at Menethil harbour. Yes this is a higher level zone but mobs are scarce so fish in peace. While you are fishing for Blackmouths lookout for Firefin Snappers which are needed by Alchemists as well and sell for round 4g per stack.

Tip 2: Collecting herbs. This tip does not make you very much gold at round 10g per hour but is still worth mentioning as you can make this being only a level 17 character. If you have choosen herbalism and are at skill level 85 for this you can collect the herb Stranglekelp which is sought after by the Alchemists for leveling up and potions. You can find this herb in Ashenvale along the Zoram Strand. The good thing is that this herb respawns quite quickly so you can gather large amounts of it easily. Right, start by the little Island to the north and head down the coast to the horde base. By the time you reach the end of the coast the stuff will have respawned so just head back and collect more. There are some mobs but they are easily avoidable.

Tip 3: Farm for Light feathers. In the Barrens around the crossroads are Greater Plainstriders which once killed can drop light feathers. Light feathers in a stack sells for round 3g but here is another bonus... Due to the high number of Plainstriders at this location the drop rate is quite high and you will pick up leathers, loot, special recipes etc.. which can sell for as much as 12g each. They are easy to kill as well as are only level 10 so go do some hunting... and stack up your gold.

Tip 4: Spider's Silk. If you are Level 19 and want to make about 13-15 gold per hour then head on over to Alther's Mill in Redridge Mountains (52,46). Level 19 Greater Tarantulas is what you want to kill and these guys have a pretty good drop rate and leatherworkers and Tailors need spiders silk for certain items so you can make some good gold here as well.

Tip 5: Bloodfury Harpies. Farming these enemies who are easy to kill and are only level 24 can get you round 12 gold per hour. Head on over to coordinates 32,68 which is the Charred Vale in Stonetalon Mountains to find them. The Harpies once killed will drop plenty of light feathers, wool cloth and linen cloth and besides this the area spawns several treasure chests to add to your bounty.

Tip 6: The Windmill. There is a windmill over on the northwestern shore of Westfall with many Defias trappers and looters surrounding it. These guys are only level 12 ,respawn really quickly and really easy to kill and their drop rate for linen cloth is excellent. You can sell the linen cloth and other loot you get from them for round 6 gold per hour. Not great amounts of gold but is very easily achieved.

That's it for now on the World of Warcraft gold guide but hopefully I will be adding some more tips in the near future. For the best guide to help you make lots and lots of gold from newbie level to experienced have a look at this guide now, seriously, it rocks!
