To get started with enchanting you need to visit a trainer to be taught how to enchant, basically get your apprenticeship. You need to buy or source a copper rod from a enchanting merchant or vendor. The numerous rods that you will require once leveling up can be found at the auction house as well.

Once you have done that you have these abilities in your Spellbook ,Enchant Bracer - Minor Deflection, Minor Health, and Runed Copper Rod and obviously your disenchant ability.

So lets begin to level up.

WoW Enchanting Guide level 1-100

Enchanting to level 50 is quite easy. Note: The enchant amounts listed below are just guidelines you may have to do more or less to get to the required skill level.

WoW Enchanting Guide Level 100-200

You can level up fairly easily still at this level. If you are in need of gold, stop struggling and take a look at the WoW gold guide page. Remember as well amounts listed below are just guidelines you may have to do more or less to get to the required skill level.

WoW Enchanting Guide Level 200-300

You will need some vials & formulas(purchase from trade merchants or alchemy vendors) (v) to make the following oils, Lesser Mana Oil and Wizard Oil. I have listed the vendors locations in the chart following the next.

Note: Continue to do Enchant Shield Greater Stamina until level 300 if you wish, thereby skipping Wizard Oil and Enchant Cloak - Superior Defense.

WoW Enchanting Guide Level 300-375

Visit a Master Enchanting Trainer to level up further.

Master Enchanting Trainer ->Location Horde or Alliance

Asarnan Stormspire -> Netherstorm Horde/Alliance
Felannia Thrallmar -> Hellfire Peninsula Horde
High Enchanter Bardolan Scryer's Tier -> Shattrath City Horde/Alliance (Scryer Rep.)
Johan Barnes Honor Hold-> Hellfire Peninsula Alliance

WoW Enchanting Guide Level 375-450

Almost there. This part of the enchanting leveling can really cost you lots of gold. So if you want some gold tips head on over to the WoW Gold Guide page and seriously consider getting yourself a copy of Luke Brown's Gold Secrets Guide. It rocks and is currently the top selling WoW Gold Guide.

Okay, to level further than 375 you'll need to pay a visit to a Grand Master Enchanting Trainer for some training. They are located here...

Grand Master Enchanting Trainer -> Location Horde or Alliance

Eorain Dawnstrike ->Warsong Hold, Borean Tundra Horde
Emil Autumn -> Vengeance Landing, Howling Fjord Horde
Elizabeth Jackson ->Valgarde, Howling Fjord Alliance
Alexis Marlowe ->Valiance Keep, Borean Tundra Alliance
Enchanter Nalthanis -> Dalaran Horde/Alliance
Fael Morningsong -> Icecrown Horde/Alliance

Note: You must also buy these 2 formulas:

Enchant 2H Weapon Scourgebane and 
Enchant Boots – Greater Assault
Can both be bought from Vanessa Sellers, the Shard Trader, in Dalaran.
